Swatara Township Police are seeking a homicide suspect. Citizens are asked to contact the department if they have any information regarding the incident. Citizens should also be observant of their surroundings and immediately report any and all suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities to the police.

Please note - hours of operation of all Township parks are now 6:00 AM to dusk. Individuals found in any township park

between dusk and 6:00 AM can be cited and are subject to a fine.

Members of the Swatara Township Police Department will participate in the

Beaver Stadium Run/Walk on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM

to raise funds for Special Olympics Pennsylvania.

This is a unique opportunity to run or walk

with members of the Penn State Nittany Lion Football Team.

Several members of the Swatara Township Police Department participated in the

2010 Polar Bear Plunge on Saturday, February 13, 2010.

Members plunged into the icy waters of the Susquehanna River from City Island

and raised $2,790 for Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
