Swatara Police are asking for the public's help with an armed robbery that took place at the CVS on Derry Street on 1/30/09 at about 3:03 AM.  The individual approached the counter and announced the robbery while keeping his right hand in his coat pocket as though he had a weapon.  The employee turned over an unspecified amount of cash.  The suspect's tracks lead south toward the railroad tracks that parallel I-83.  The suspect possibly fled in a green Ford Taurus that was involved in a hit and run accident at 29th and Derry Streets.

Swatara Police are asking for the public's help with an armed robbery that took place in the lot of the Harrisburg Mall on 1/27/09 at about 9:45 PM.  A mall employee was cleaning her car when a silver BMW pulled beside her.  Two black males got out of the vehicle.  One of the males pointed a gun at the victim and the other male demanded her money.  The second male entered the victim's car and took her purse, as well as another bag.  Crime stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000.

Swatara Police were dispatched to the JC Penney store at High Pointe Commons, 4680 High Pointe Blvd, in Swatara Township in reference to a retail theft. Store personnel advised that a white male and white female, both believed to be in their thirties, were observed and are on video concealing a number of watches and perfume bottles in their pants and on their persons. The suspects saw store employees watching them and placed some of the items on shelves in the shoe department. Store security attempted to stop the suspects as they walked out the exit. The subjects fled in a silver 4-door sedan.

On October 1, 2008, at 8:00 pm, a black male entered the CVS Pharmacy on Derry Street and removed a bicycle that had been left in the vestibule by a patron.  The suspect can be seen in the video and photos to left.

On September 28, 2007 at approximately 2:01 AM, Swatara Police were dispatched to the Wyndham Garden Hotel, 765 Eisenhower Boulevard for an armed robbery.  Two black males entered the hotel, displayed handguns and demanded money from the front desk clerk.  Both suspects were described as dark-skinned, approximately 6’6” tall and were dressed in black clothing.  They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a yellow sedan of unknown make and model.

Swatara Township Police Department are asking for your assistance in identifying the male suspect in this video.  On 18 July 2007 at about 7:25PM the male entered the Benihana of Tokyo in the 2500 block of Paxton Street and, after engaging an employee in brief conversation, attempted to remove the entire cash register from the counter.  After being unsuccessful the suspect put the register back on the counter and flees in an unknown vehicle.  Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the incident is asked to contact Swatara Police at 564-2550 and ask for Detective Everett or Detective Sergeant Farling.
